I mean, WTF does that come from?

Tbh, there was some truth in whah he/she said.
When I first started contracting I posted here in the legal & contracting forum about the best way to proceed and got nothing but help.
I've since posted a few tech help queries in this forum and though some have have attracted helpful people and led me on my merry way, others have just brought on posts like "this is what google is for". I, like most others, would not be posting on a forum if I had managed to successfuly google a solution to my problem.
Granted, if I posed the question "what is Redhat linux" then I'd expect abuse. If I ask how to get 128-bit DES encryption working on my new netbackup 6.5 server then I'd hope some people would be helpful.
Other than that I love you all

Not quite sure what he was expecting really, as already suggested this is such a mix of tech and non-tech contractors that the level of tech seems about right here to be honest... I would ask very tech questions here, more likely to resort to specialist forums or Google rather than ask here.
Oh well Maca, hope you succeed in your search for the ultimate contractor forum where only nerds dwell and the finer points of version control, performance enhancements in Oracle via outer joins, and the best sandals to buy during a potentially wet summer
Hehehe, now the mods join in the fun...cool!!

We’ve got a (new?) troll trying to flame in the tech forum
