    Can you be clear about what the NAS is and how you access it? Are you talking about unused space on a volume which is available to you as a drive or unused space on the raw disk which is never exposed? Any raid?

    Why are you worried about unused space anyway?

    Ive used Eraser before to wipe disks before I give them to others.
    Nothing saucy to hide just paranoid!
    But it doesnt seem to be able to wipe unused space on NAS drives.
    Is there a similar utility that will work on a network drive?
    This is a all-in-one NAS solution so its not easy to take the disk out and attach it via ATA.
