Ive used Eraser before to wipe disks before I give them to others.
Nothing saucy to hide just paranoid!
But it doesnt seem to be able to wipe unused space on NAS drives.
Is there a similar utility that will work on a network drive?
This is a all-in-one NAS solution so its not easy to take the disk out and attach it via ATA.

Take a look at Active Kill Disk.

Can you be clear about what the NAS is and how you access it? Are you talking about unused space on a volume which is available to you as a drive or unused space on the raw disk which is never exposed? Any raid?

Why are you worried about unused space anyway?
