Any HTML help workshop experts?

As this is a smallish help and user search for keywords is rather superfluous, I would like not to have the index window visible, just the contents. However, I cannot just delete the index file as indexes are used to open the file at the right place from VB.net:-

Help.ShowHelp(Me, HelpProvider1.HelpNamespace,
HelpNavigator.KeywordIndex, pr.PicTopics(CurrentView))

Is there any other ways of doing this? Ta for any suggestions.

You should probably give more detailed background on how exactly your help is being generated.

However, chm or whatever is just a zipped bunch of HTMLs, so if you don't mind editing these by hand, just hide the index in HTML.

Depending on your scenario it might be simply commenting one JS line.

What I used to do with help that was generated from Robohelp is that with a new skin, search would show up in two places, commenting the unnecessary js line helped in that case.
