I have a Pakuma Rucksack style bag. Looks nothing like a laptop bag, just like a rucksack, but has all the required compartments + CD holder etc. I would highly recommended it, also means some chavvy scroat is less likely to realise you are lugging a lappy about and decide to rob you.

That's britain for you mate. If this was the USA they'd ship you a higher spec bag that was in stock AND give you credit for future purchases.
eg: my wife recently ordered stationary from a american supplier. but naturally the american A4 was different size than the euro A4 so the stuff she has, she can't use easily. She rang them up and the did not admit fault - nor should they as the dimensions are clearly displayed on the screen if one takes the time to read them - BUT they gave her every penny of her money back! Without an argument! Now that is service!
Give me an example of that here. Go on, I dare you!

I rung them ang gave them hell. I then sent them a link to my rant on here to show them how displeased I was with their poor customer service and they sent me a mail saying that my order would be processed on the 9th.!!!
I sent them a reply saying "I really hope this is a joke and that my order has been cancelled"
These guys are SH*TE!!!!!

I had a quick look around and the targus city you order appears as "in stock" on their website, but apparently it isn't. Now I wonder if you could complain to the OFT about his - because they should present accurate statement on their stock to you before ordering. They didn't.
Im waiting for my bag because it isn't in stock - but then I was told that it would take three days for them to get it before they could send it on to me.

I would not recommend www.laptopstuff.co.uk .....cowboys!!!

But I'm still sure that it was her mistake...she is that good.
I should charge by the hour for her services. What's the number and how much have you paid. she'll sort it.

I'd ring them up and have a polite chat. From experience e-mails and letters are often ignored.
Cancellation Right
Under the distance selling regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven working days of receipt of the goods. Where goods are delivered to a third party you will only be able to exercise this right if you are able to return to us the goods you ordered.

They don't call this "rip-off Britian" for nothing you know! I've paid £6 for delivery on my bag, and it will take a week to get here. In most countries..I that much would get me express overnight to your door by 8am.

I've never had an issue with delivery that I can recall. I like the home delivery network - their depot is just around the corner from our house and they manage to deliver before 8am everytime, excellent.
Most of my issues have been with royal mail. the post man would sign for the package himself and then stuff it into the recycling box. Great system. I've complained on numerous occaisions, but he still does it.
Oh BTW, next day often means next working day. Saturday is not a working day.
