Umm sorry I think I need to clarify a bit further. Say you start with the below table...starting with 1 = A1, a = B1 etc...
The table will be sorted by column A.
1 a
1 b
1 c
2 d
2 e
3 f
3 g
3 h
The solution will search column A.
1. Select cells A1-A3.
2. Merge and Centre.
3. Select cells A4-A5.
4. Merge and Centre.
5. Select cells A6-A8.
6. Merge and Centre.
and so on through the entire table...
It's purely a formatting issue which is why I think I may need to use VB or a Macro.

Yep wish I didn't have to do it but have to print some labels and I need to build the template in this format.
