If you log into Amazon as a buyer the code is sent by email. That would work fine as I can redirect the company email to multiple email accounts. Why can't they do that for sellers????

Why are some of the biggest companies so useless?
Having a problem with Amazon Seller Central now they require two step authentication. Both me and my sister need to log in, so sending a code to one phone is no good.
From going through all the questions about this online, it seems that turning it off only lasts as long as the cookie is on your PC and some say it doesn't work anyway. Setting up multiple users seems complicated and according to some posts isn't even available on the basic account. Then there's authentication apps but assuming they work, and some say they don't, I can't imagine my sister coping with that. I'd have to drive there and install/set it up for her at the very least.
Daresay I'll find a solution but why is it so complicated? Is it too much for Amazon to provide some clear guidance for multiple users? Or maybe just have a dropdown allowing one to choose which registered phone number is to receive the code?Last edited by xoggoth; 12 November 2017, 10:18.Tags: None
