In case anyone is interested I got another email from them saying they'd been forced to take this action due to their storage supplier raising their fees by 8000%.

The whole thing smacks of some VC funded hair-gel wearing Tech-city startup who've raised a load of cash on the back of all the cloud hype that then falls apart rapidly when somebody notices that the figures don't come close to adding up.

    Monster Cloud Backup

    Anyone a customer?

I signed up a week ago: £30 per year for up to 1TB online backup. Pretty good deal.

Today I've received an email saying they've raised their prices: to £36 per month. The website says the same.

    Maybe they've been hacked.

Working...
