I have this though, that's what I meant by two concurrent roles.

So I have MyCo 2007 - Present.
Burger Flipper July 2014 - June 2015.

It updated my title with Burger Flipper, hence superceding MyCo, even after I updated the Burger Flipper role to have ended. Don't make much sense to me, and I would call it out as a bug with a pretty good workaround as pointed out by your good self. Just something to watch out for is all.

XXXX Consultant implies there is more than one of you, remember though LinkedIn could also be an aspriation as to what you WANT to be, rather than what you have been previously

That's it! It pre-populates it with whatever your current role was, but if you have 2 current roles, the latter supercedes, even when that role closes.

I want to post on LinkedIn.

Previous role : Burger flipper.
Current role : Director at MyCo
