    I have this though, that's what I meant by two concurrent roles.

    So I have MyCo 2007 - Present.
    Burger Flipper July 2014 - June 2015.

    It updated my title with Burger Flipper, hence superceding MyCo, even after I updated the Burger Flipper role to have ended. Don't make much sense to me, and I would call it out as a bug with a pretty good workaround as pointed out by your good self. Just something to watch out for is all.
