Any of you tried using cable staples on plasterboard?
I've put a wall light in my daughter's bedroom. It plugs into a socket and comes with a couple of cable holders that fix to the skirting board, but I'd like to 'staple' the cable to the plasterboard wall in a couple of places.
All the staplers I can see on line are either heavy duty or for embroidery. This is just a normal lamp cable, so not very big and it's to be fixed to a plasterboard wall - just to stop it getting snagged or pulled off the wall.
I don't want to use those white things with the little nail attached.
