Halo,
try this, it unprotects PDF docs:
Affordable PDF tools: PDF Merger, Splitter, Password Security, Converter etc. Free download. [A-PDF.com]
or if you like, email me the document and I'll run it for you and send it back to you.

Does that mean its worked? Or that all its done is spooled?Originally posted by Halo Jones View PostEO: its some source material for a Pathfinder (D&D type) campaign
I found a solution:
1. Opened Adobe Reader (with no document)
2. Went to the Edit menu, then Preferences, then Security (Enhanced)
3. Unticked “Enable Protected Mode at Start-up”
4. Clicked OK
5. Opened the PDF and set my settings for printer, duplex, etc.
6. Watched it spool ok and test print worked fine.
But that's all
If its still a problem email it to me and I have full whack Adobe which can remove protection

Yes I believe it must be protected, which I can understand but it’s annoying as I have brought a hard copy of this booklet – (which happens to be in a different county as a “friend borrowed” it) & now I need it for Saturdays game.Originally posted by malvolio View PostSounds like it's been protected to stop it being printed (version controlled docs often are). Check the file properties.
Pnan B, if you aren't too fussed about layout and your PDF reader allows the option, is try cut and paste the content into a new Word document - but you may hit the same problem
& cut & paste did not work

Thanks for the suggestion but I tried it, it saved as 2 near blank pages with the following on it:
"ERROR: undefined
OFFENDING COMMAND: eexec
STACK:
/quit
-dictionary-
-mark"
