    I'm now quoting on a project which is going to use AngularJS, PHP & PostgreSQL.

    The reason I'm using PHP is the existing data layer is already written as it is used for their current website. So I don't really think it needs to be rewritten into something else. All I think I would need to do transform the recordset results into JSON - can't imagine that would be very hard.
