I recently walked past SuitYous mum. She was kicking a can down the road. "What are you doing I asked?"

    "Moving", she said.

I was very amused a few weeks back when I was walking down the road in town at night, then saw a beggar pestering people on the street and suddenly heard a tannoy on a lamp post blurt out the tinny sound of a policeman saying

    "HEY YOU!......."

The beggar then span around to the tannoy looking confused...

"YEESS YOU!! BEGGING HERE IS ILLEGAL. LEAVE TOWN IMMEDIATELY! OR YOU WILL BE ARRESTED"

He sounded spookily like the police out of the totalitarian film 1984.

    Correct.

The Brit's as a nation of animal lovers, are more horrified to see a mangy, hungry-looking hound on a street corner than a living human being, and do dig deep in to their pockets accordingly.

Where are they all coming from?
    Britain's NOT Got Talent probably.

Hmmm. While hitching round Europe I've slept on streets and parks a few times. Just in average September it's bad enough.

Is there somewhere they can go, do they get state aid and why has this thread been moved to Light Relief?

I've wondered that a few times when I've left for work and the thermometer is showing -10 or lower.

We don't seem to have so many homeless here. Perhaps that's why.

I once walked past a homeless man, he asked for 50p, but i ignored him. Felt a bit bad. 300 yards later, i stood in a tulipe. That's bad karma my mate said, and you know I thought he was right. So I went back to the homeless man, and punched him in the mouth!
