Has ANYONE here actually read Chart Throb by Ben Elton?
x factor is NOTHING to do with singers. It is about clingers("I want this so desperately"), mingers("I am ugly") and blingers("I am a flashy show-off").
There are a couple of BRILLIANT singers at church - one young lady has the voice of an angel - and is very pretty too. But she will never get anywhere on a flea-ridden show that manipulates the unwashed(admittedly in an amazing way).
I am off for a lie down. Or maybe to get some culture by reading the mail or the NOTW.

Oh dear...
I watched x factor tonight... the fun never ends in Castle Tay....
But that Diana Vickers has a wicked voice. Hope she wins it just for the difference factor. This is last weeks, I reckon this week was better, but not on you tube yet.
