Thanks for the info on the server - I'll definitely check that one out. I think the last time I seriously played a PC based FPS was Quake 3 Arena, so my "skillz" have probably dulled a bit! Some would say that could also apply to my mind...

An interesting question, and it looks like Valve did toy with the idea of letting 360 owners play against PC owners. Unfortunately it doesn't look like this made it into the final version of the game. Can't hurt to try and connect to the server though - let me know how you get on.Originally posted by Moscow Mule View PostCan I join in with XBL, or am I going to be forced to buy another PC game?

If you need the practice just jump onto a public server and dive in. TF2 doesnt seem to suffer from the elitist jerk syndrome that UT or Quake tended to get and players generally seem older.
This one is generally good with regular players and admins who dont put up with kiddy nonsense.

Team Fortress 2
I recall there are a few CUKers on here who are fans of Team Fortress 2. I mysellf have never played but quite fancy a go, so after chatting with a couple of players on the TPD thread I decided to set up a server and see if there was any interest in getting a few CUKers together for a game one evening.
Post here if you're interested in joining such a game and I'll arrange a suitable time for us to kill and maim each other.
For those interested the server should be running at teamfortress2.voodooflux.com and the password is the name of a "legendary" forum member.Tags: None
