Re: :-)
The Syrians are pissed off because the British are building a dam in Turkey which is going to stop much of the water that supplies Syria... They do have another source of water though - neighbouring Iraq.... Oh dear...

Can't be certain on that but I do recall that towelhead Arafat ranting on about "The Piss Process" so maybe they do.

Go here and type in the airport codes (LHR-DEL) and see for yourself. Civilian aircraft do not currently overfly Iraq, and I suspect many flights detour the region to the north or south wherever possible.
Bugger - Eddie beat me to it.

You should be able to find out on google I would have thought.
Failing that a globe might help - just stretch a bit of string between the destinations - don't forget to find out if/where any stopovers are.. Surprisingly large numbers of flights go over the Arctic.
For what it's worth my guess is that it would. Don't forget to take a dump at the appropriate moment ( if only - I'm 99.9% sure it goes in tanks to prevent icing
)

As I frequent Indian restaurants then I believe this to be true.
FFS fiddle, you're about the only one on here with a brain, please, do you think the flight will go over Iraq and those other sh'tholes?

Guest repliedFlights in general follow great circle routes (with some diversions - usually for political reasons).
I don't think that most muslims would object to you being in a plane flying through their airspace but I could understand why if they did.

Does the flight to India go over all those dirty muslim countries or does it go the other way round?
