You should be able to find out on google I would have thought.
Failing that a globe might help - just stretch a bit of string between the destinations - don't forget to find out if/where any stopovers are.. Surprisingly large numbers of flights go over the Arctic.
For what it's worth my guess is that it would. Don't forget to take a dump at the appropriate moment ( if only - I'm 99.9% sure it goes in tanks to prevent icing )
Go here and type in the airport codes (LHR-DEL) and see for yourself. Civilian aircraft do not currently overfly Iraq, and I suspect many flights detour the region to the north or south wherever possible.
