No point holding your client to a set of processes and timescales that don't exist yet... Not sure how else to put it to you.

Are you suggesting to wait until the legistlation is live, then appeal and wait up to 45 days for a response which will take you to around 22 May?

    IR35 - An Update - Jonathan Lee

The legislation makes statutory provision for the contractor to appeal any determination made, with the end client being responsible to respond within 45 days of the appeal. Where an appeal is successful, a new SDS must be furnished by the end user.

However they have 45 days to respond, so if they havent sent it to you earlier than last Friday then they could theoretically leave you hanging until its 6th April and corner you in.
No they don't. It's not legislation yet.

Yup - finished up today despite having a 6-month extension offered (blanket ban on PSCs) - just too much risk for me to carry on as discussed in the primary thread on this.
Will look for something new end of March.

I'm finishing tomorrow. It was the end of my contract and ClientCo did not want to extend but mentioned a possible permie role. No thanks. No SDS made. Quite happy to take some time out and see how things lie later in the year.

The answer can be found by looking at who the OP is.

I think you are going to have to stay curious. I wouldn't trust anything that is going to be presented.

And same as LM. Not really bothered either.

Hi I'm finishing tomorrow as client as EY doing ir35:assesments in march which are rumoured to find everyone inside, It just so happened tomorrow was the end of my contract and was offered a 1 month extension but decided against it due to the EY assesments.
