Currently working in a PS role which is going to now finish end of March. Going to be paid on 5th April.

Possibly have a new PS role - different part of PS but still under FoI although a different agency which will probably be deemed inside. Will only get into the nitty gritty of that if offered the contract or at interview.

Any risks with this if I get taxed at source using the new rules? First pay day likely to be in new tax year.

Not you particularly I guess. It was another of my wild assumptions based on the number of PS gigs out there, the number of people leaving and the number of gigs people say they are turning down. Should be easy enough to cherry pick a role for those that actually want to be in the PS at the moment no?

Hi Andy - nice to meet you. I was given 3 possible agencies and none of the above match I am afraid. Not sure how fluid agency lists are with PS orgs? I'm clarifying some things with the end-client PS before proceeding but if that works out is it worth having a discussion or not do you think?

Hi, I am Commercial Director at SThree. SThree is the holding company for a number of recruitment brands. In the UK we trade under Real Staffing, Computer Futures, Progressive, Huxley and Orgtel.

We have a significant number of contractors across the public sector and have been looking at this since the consultation document last year.

I've been posting on here for a good few years now and seem to be tolerated.

My intention is to walk them through why I am outside and making sure that is part of the engagement and making it clear that if I am ever inside then I am off. I do think that Aprils consequences will hit but if I have all my outside IR35 ducks lined up and there is no blanket decision then surely my exposure is however long it takes them to process me through ESS. I haven't done any work for the PS before and haven't worked via any of the agencies they have mentioned so other than now until April would retrospective even be a thing?

That is my intention if no private pops up.........although current PS client has asked me defer giving 28 day notice for a few days whilst agency seems intent on trying to manipulate me into umbrella.
