Go to Alt Fest it's more fun than Glastonbury and you're less likely to see a politician glamping

Done T In The Park, Reading Leeds, etc in younger days but always fancied Glasto (never been) but the wife isn't a fan of roughing it in a tent so but no chance with 5K for a "Yurt"!

    Maybe a Winnebago?

    Always preferred the indoor events.

Used to go to a wicked one called Futurama up in Nottingham back in the '80s. A lot of generally avant garde, post punk indie stuff - before indie stuff was just identikit jangly guitar bands. And, more importantly, before the British rock scene got ruined by Britpop.

Here's a bit of Clock DVA for ya...

The Festivals used to be about getting away from all the trendies and arseholes. Now it's where you go to find them.

Don't bother it's just full of posers now and lost it's core audience, plus the bands are even more dire than they used to be in it's prime

Stick to going to Leipzig at least people have fun there

Glamping is for right on lefties from Hampstead who think they're getting down with the youth, as they visit to see some popular beat combo from their childhood

I went to Download the other week. I would have gladly swapped Metallica for Aerosmith. They were tulip and should have retired long ago.
