Lets face it Iran and Saudi are both as bad as each other. I disagree with that. They may both be severely repressive but Saudi is significantly worse, and Iran has some aspects of civil society that we should find encouraging. And also, my beef is with the state and government of Iran, not the people. Iran was showing signs of becoming a flourishing democracy before the CIA toppled the democratic government.
