    Lloyds and TSB merged in 1995. As part of Lloyds purchase of Halifax Bank of Scotland part of the merged Lloyds TSB was supposed to be sold to the Co-op. When that fell through Lloyds had no choice but to separate out the branches that were to be sold to the Co-op, rebrand them as TSB and float the new company...

    Yeah, I have chucked some at it. Institutions have signed up happily and it is apparently 'priced to sell'.
    Not expecting to get lots of shares OR it to do a RoyalMail but should be positive.
    Might hang on for the free shares in a year but might take the few bob if it kicks into profit early doors.

    Who else has gone in? Can't work out if it's a good move or not, so settled for 2k (if they give me that). Given that everyone on here is an investment genius, I’d value (not really) your opinions.
