    Ah, that's the one

I'd excluded the Nexus 7 as the query was about 10 inch options.

Yeah I remember when they started offloading the Nexus 4 in preparation for the Nexus 5's arrival, I'd be well happy if they do release a new Nexus 10 but if it is a Nexus 8 it's something I'd also consider. My original Nexus 7 has served me well but I want something new

Yep my bad, I should have stated that I was on about the tablet version.

Mind it is pretty confusing giving them the same name.

Very happy with my Nexus 7 for pocketability and functionality. However, too lazy to do my own research on

    - Best way to get my (Windows) iTunes content (tracks, playlists & podcasts) onto the tablet and best app to play it?

    - As above for movies/TV (in a ridiculous number of different formats)

    - General 'dummies' guide to android, preferably as a free ebook?

You might be able to find the list with a bit more patience than I've got....

I might buy the Xperia Z2 if nothing is announced.

My kids have between them got a Nexus 7 a Kindle HD (rooted to remove Amazons restrictions) and a Samsung 7 inch. Of those I'd say the Nexus wins easily followed by the Kindle with the Samsung in third place.
