    damn right.

and we didnt give the dusky ones a chance to worry about bumming each other or using satire, they were too worried about the price of salt.

What this all shows, obviously, is that the world needed the British empire.

Dead now, bless him but the 'stoned' comment lives on.

The video is, of course, a hoax; but the interesting thing is that it's originally a hoax perpetrated by a Shia Muslim satellite TV station as a way of mocking Wahsabi Sunni Muslims. In other words, it's the equivalent of a Protestant making derogatory jokes about Catholics, or a Greek Orthodox TV station spreading scatological rumours about a fictitious Anabaptist sermon.

Turns out Islam isn't one big thing and Muslims don't all believe the same stuff, just like Christianity. Who knew?

Of course since it originally appeared around 2009 it has been taken up and spread as fact by a number of Far Right groups, some of which have links to Israeli intelligence. It's a bit like when idiots post stories from The Onion on Facebook, believing them to be actual news, not satire.

The original statement read out in the video can be found in the Internet Archive, posted on an Arabic forum: www.montdiatna.com.

If you don't know any Arabic, the fact that the name “Sheikh Abu al-Dema al-Qasab” translates to Sheikh Bloody Butcher should be enough of a giveaway

More at Sodomy for jihad? Venerable LGBT magazine The Advocate spreads vile Islamophobic hoax | The Electronic Intifada and Israel intel-linked MEMRI perpetuates "sodomy for jihad" hoax | The Electronic Intifada from 2012.

In case you didn't actually understand my point, I was accusing them of hypocrisy (see below for definition).

    Hypocrisy:
the practice of claiming to have higher standards or more noble beliefs than is the case.
The practice of professing beliefs, feelings, or virtues that one does not hold or possess; falseness.
