Liverpool had a good run for years before Hicks and Gillet dragged them down, though never really looked like title contenders. Arsenal were, before the new stadium stopped them spending money. I expect both teams to be contenders again next year. If Utd bounce back that'll be a five way tussle, should be interesting.Originally posted by d000hg View PostInteresting season as a neutral though. Great to see teams like Liverpool and Arsenal genuine contenders again - did they step their game up seeing an opportunity with Man U falling apart or was it a coincidence?

I can't get any interest about the world cup this time round. Normally it's the one time I really get into football.

Not sure - the fact Utd were so bad meant that pretty much most of the top 5/6 got 6 points out of Utd this season where as in the past it would have been at best 3 and more likely 1 or none.Originally posted by d000hg View PostInteresting season as a neutral though. And Everton 5th... even worse for Moyes.
Will be interesting to see what happens over the transfer window
But before that

No no it didn't :-DOriginally posted by Doggy Styles View PostHang on, Liverpool have turned it around.
It just needs Man City to let in three quick goals at the end. But surely, that sort of thing doesn't happen to league leaders, does it?
