Someone just took brinksmanship to a whole new level.
I'm beginning to wonder if zerohedge isn't subtle Russian propaganda, with their steady drip of anti-Western gloom and doom.

Several of their contributors seem to have Russian sounding names (It isn't really all the work of one guy called Tyler Durden, beavering away like a one-armed paper hanger!)

What kind of armed forces does Ukraine have, in comparison both with Russia and with countries like UK, Germany, etc?

The whole secret desert moon base recording everyone's email and phone calls was a tin hat stuff until it turned out to be true 2 years later. A lot of their stuff has turned out to be true, and I think a lot will do in time.

I do suspect that they have either more if different Tylers these days though - the quality seems to have dropped a little.

I'm just waiting for silver to hit 5 hundred an ounce like they promised 3 years ago!

President Vladimir Putin has overseen military drills on countering nuclear strike. The planned drills come ahead of the May 9 celebrations dedicated to victory in World War II.

"We are carrying out tests of the readiness of the Russian armed forces. It was announced last November. The exercises will involve all branches of the armed forces across the country," Putin told reporters at the Defense Ministry.
Here's a list of US military exercises, some of which were planned quite a while ago: U.S. Army Europe Exercises
