With large amounts of money in your back pocket, you could have a real impact by investing in businesses and apprenticeships / education to process raw materials in the country where they're grown: roasting and packaging coffee, manufacturing peanut butter / groundnut oil, whatever. It keeps money in the country and promotes engineering, construction and management jobs with associated education etc.
This is an interesting project that could make a huge difference for many of those businesses;
Though I think targeting basic education might be more valuable in some places.

900 million well spent could make an enormous difference in some parts of the world and that would be my aim; get the biggest results for the money.
