Er.. is this thread about records, eggs or cars?

Anyway, vinyl. Wanted to play my old LPs from the attic in my bedroom, bleedin' 'eck players are expensive now! So hacked down an old player and removed tapes and CD stuff that didn't work, just left the deck and amp that did. Sounds brill.

My first car was a Ford Cortina 1600 Super (with GT bits) but didn't have a vinyl roof but I wanted one so ordered one from Exchange and Mart. After sticking it on, and that was a job and a half, it didn't look any better. My 3rd car was a Ford Capri 3000GXL, yellow with a black vinyl roof and that did actually look quite good. I also had a Lincoln Continental MKIV 2 door coupe which was red with a white vinyl roof and a blue leather interior (red, white and blue, who says Americans don't have taste?) which was tulip.

It's not a great loss really.
A rather ironic slogan in this advertisement I think.

A good piece of meat, marinaded and grilled over charcoal, or a solid Italian trattoria meal with 5 basic ingredients that the chef has done as little as possible with; that's about right for me.

The best thing I ever had from Jonnie Boer was a very straightforward slow cooked neck of lamb at a show. Nothing I ate in his restaurant impressed me as much as that.
Haven't been to De Librije yet, but I have been to &samhoud and Places which was fantastic. I had a rather off putting experience at Hof Van Cleve last year.

Well if Jonnie Boer is doing meat on the egg then it should be good to try.

Went out for dinner last night at a local restaurant and the chef's a big fan of the egg as well, in fact its his fault I bought one. He may be cooking at the egg member day and apparently Johnny Boer will be there as well.
