Use of the word 'Friend' = Not true story.Originally posted by TestMangler View PostTrue story !! A friend of mine (who's from Yorkshire) worked in and lived in a little steel village in South Wales in the early 70's and when he moved he was 'shunned' to say the least. Someone told him to learn a bit of welsh and greet the locals in their native tongue. One Sunday morning, he was out walking his dog when he walks past a car, up on ramps, with overalled legs sticking out from underneath. He shouted a hearty greeting in welsh, to be met by a loud gruff scots accent from under the car, saying "F**k off you welsh c**t" !
