At the Japanese investment bank I contracted, the canteen was a nightmare for someone like me who is allergic to shellfish. Every meal was a gravy/soupy looking thing with an assortment of heads (with the odd eyeball) and fins sticking out of it.Originally posted by doodab View PostThe canteen wasn't too bad either.

At one place I worked (Japanese) we used to have a lovely room with individual massage chairs surrounded by bamboo trees, perfect for taking 15 minutes during a hectic day. The canteen wasn't too bad either.Originally posted by oracleslave View PostContract for a Japanese owned company. Perfectly acceptable to catch some zeds during the working day.

Took the day off (on full pay). I stayed up to 3am last night watching f1, so I shall be enjoying an afternoon snooze I expect.
Bit annoyed that I missed steak and blowjob day.

One of my early projects had a plit site that we had to walk between. Obviously, I never hid in the server room for a quick kip and told everyone in building A I was in building B and vice versa....
The downside was that it was in Basingstoke.

Sleep in the server room, no one goes in there that often these days
