Maybe a little unfair yes, but having broken a fair few bones before, including a couple that needed surgery, I'll tell you something. They usually heal and after a couple of weeks of painkillers you get on with life as best as you can, including sex. Just try to avoid breaking your spine; that's a really tough one to repair.
