How is it the Tory's criticise the Europe's union "it should be broken up!" they scream whilst the Great Britain's union should remain intact. All this despite the same massive inequalities between the north & the south.
Equality between rich and poor in the UK is shocking, much as it is with EU countries (which they're trying to do something about). But here in the UK the poor are driven further into the ground.

The Spanish will almost certainly block Scotland. If not then the Spanish state could rapidly disintegrate as the Basque and Catalan areas leave for independent EU membership.
Very high stakes for Madrid.
But maybe if Scotland agreed to hand over its oil wealth to the EU then maybe that could sweeten the deal.............Last edited by Flashman; 16 February 2014, 15:30.
