Sorry to hear your news.
Gutting to see it on facebook - must have been a real shock to the system.
Does make you focus on your own mortality and want to live each moment to the full when friends pass away.

Same here with me a few months ago. A very old friend from primary school in the 1970's dead. Murdered.
Mind you I hadn't seen him for 30 years or so.

And no it wasn't me wot done him in.

As an aside, I can say with authority that finding out via Facebook that an old friend has died is a cruelly surreal moment.

Life is short

Woke up this morning to find on Facebook that 2 motorcycling mates have died, neither anything to do with biking.

One was a good friend and the other an acquaintance who I had met quite a few times.

Live it folks.
