There is no such legal concept as fair use in the UK - Lucas is known to sue people for doing parodies on Star Wars: you can sure win, but you will have to spend plenty of money and in courts here you almost never get 100% costs, so it will cost you. Sky's sponsoring most certainly has got condition that all legal issues will be his to handle.

Parody is fair use. He's not passing it off as the original or anything like it. Besides, if sky are sponsoring it they probably already have the legal stuff sorted.

Ah, herein lies the dilema: do you show I, II & III first rendering IV, V & VI devoid of surprise, or show it the chronological way wrt release dates?

The entire Star Wars saga is to be condensed into a 20-minute comedy.
Adam Long, co-founder of the Reduced Shakespeare Company, is to write and direct Star Wars - Shortened! ahead of Sky Movies' showing of all six films.

There will be one-off performance by Long and two other actors at London's Criterion Theatre, recorded for broadcast on Sky Movies.
