There days it seems like the festival of poppy wearing starts in mid October then when that ends 4 weeks later we are straight into 2 months of tree celebrations.

No decs up yet.... Small childs birthday at the beginning of Dec so once b-day celebrations out of the way, we'll put up the Christmas stuff & then head to Ireland to put up theirs
Christmas with a small child is fun
Everything Christmassy he sees makes him say "oh wow".

I like Christmas itself for a couple of days, but I despise the shops playing that bloody music from before Halloween and would happily disembowel the bastards that put decorations up in homes and shops before the 20th Dec and tbh that's a tad early.
