Some good viewing tonight.
Impact! on the history of air crashes and how they have improved safety was sobering.
Horizon: 40 Yearson the Moon was inspiring and now Sir David presenting Africa is providing some stunning wildlife film.

If the choice is between staying in a souless Hilton, Intercontinental or whatever, or a family run hotel (at half the price), where you can spend the late evening enjoying a whisky with the owner, I'll pick the latter.Originally posted by alluvial View PostThe poor are quite often poor because they don't know when to save money and instead waste their hard earned pennies on needless extravagances. Not a lot of pus though, mostly opioides.
Amazing to think that no one has come up with a better painkiller in the intervening 200 years or so.

It was surprisingly good.Originally posted by SueEllen View PostNice to know I'm not the only person watching it. Though I tend to see it on iPlayer.
The quality of the BBC Four (and Three) programmes are usually top class. I particularly enjoyed last night's "Pain, Pus and Poison" very interesting and had a lot of food for thought.
