    In all fairness MF, it's piss easy outside the Surrey Downs and coming up to Brighton and even then, it's not even slightly severe.

    The BHF London->Brighton is 56ish - starting from Clapham Common.

    Pretty much flat. Little hill in the middle. Big fecker of a hill (Ditchling Beacon) at the end - then lovely downhill run into Brighton.

    Yes. Its all downhill. Its like John O'groats to Lands End. Its easier going that way as its downhill due tom the curvature of the earth. Very easy. In fact, very the slope being heavier helps you as you get more gravity effect.
