It's certainly plausible.Originally posted by eek View PostSee my comment above. They need a patsy once in a while and spend an awful lot of time trying to find some foolish enough to be one.
In fact the more I think about the story I posted the more accurate I think it is

Maybe MF' transatlantic job is not real and he just smuggles Charlie. He certainly usually looks like he has something up his bottom.

8K to risk spending 10 years in prison. no thanks.Originally posted by Bunk View PostThey won't have the story to write a book. They're not Howard Marks, they're just a couple of silly kids. As MS points out, they took the risk for £8k, not a million. That tells you all you need to know. For some people £8k is all the money in the world.

They researched the Peruvian legal system and found out you only get 5 years for smuggling. If they got away with it they would make 1 million each. Plenty of people study for more than 5 years and wont earn 1 million in 20 years. Also if they get caught they become celebs and write a book when they get out when they are 28-30 and make a few million.

Is there any truth to the rumour that he runs his empire from a bedsit above a kebab shop in Brum?Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostI have heard a rumour (don't know if it's true) that a Russian Mafiosi was involved. The girls were 'recruited' by said Russian gangland leader with the threat of 'sharing his sofa' & 'Don't let me get all SKA on your arses'. I heard he was stroking a grey squirrel & had been caught reading the Daily Mail.
They were very scared.
