    Was in Staples at lunchtime buying a notepad, and the guy who served me was wearing a plastic wristband comprising equal length strips of three colours: red, dark blue, and light blue.

    I'm slightly curious to know what it is likely to indicate, if anything. Allergies maybe, or charities/awareness thingies.

    I didn't like to ask the guy, in case it is a sex code and he started reeling off a list of all his deviant sexual preferences.
