    If Libor went down the route of PPI it would probably be the end of all banks involved and the liability would exceed each of their assets combined

    but it's ok the Gov will bail them out and the loses will be made public

    There must be a law covering incorrect financial reporting that results in a Jail sentence, that is what is needed, they knowing lied for years to boost profits & defraud customers they should be in a cell, that would stop future temptation.
