    Funding was supposedly available for the redesign of Donington too. At least these people aren't stupid enough to say they're going to get F1.

    Not quite, from what I've read getting permission from the local planners was the biggest hurdle, funding is supposedly available.

    So as I read it a bunch of local planners have said it's ok. That's it. So far they have borrowed 2M of the 280M required. Not convinced the other funds will be forthcoming.

    Can't see them getting MotoGP away from Silverstone, or any of the generating motor sport industry in the area claims being true. Could be a good trackday venue though.
