I don't blame her for that, apparently she was quite upset about how it all turned out.
The result was natural, and completely inevitable

Being a chemistry graduate, she should have known about the Maxwell-Boltzmann distribution, and it works the same with money as for gas: A few smart people end up with huge amounts of money, and the majority end up with much less or hardly any. Always been the same, and probably always will be.

Maxwell–Boltzmann distribution describes particle speeds in gases, where the particles move freely without interacting with one another, except for very brief elastic collisions in which they may exchange momentum and kinetic energy, but do not change their respective states of intramolecular excitation, as a function of the temperature of the system

Indeed. With all what's coming out now with NSA, GCHQ, Police smearing, phone hacking - it seems you can't trust anyone any more.

Politicians are not getting it either. Far too busy shooting darts at each other to see the big picture.

Remember Alistair Campbell's sexed up dodgy dossier?

Perhaps I was naive but I always generally used to believe what politicians said and that their intentions were honourable.

Nowadays I take every weasely pronouncement they make with a pinch of salt and for this Tony Blair will always have a special place in my heart.

It was the sheer bare faced duplicitousness of his regime that destroyed my faith in the political process and, I regret to say, nobody since has done much to restore it.

    Cheers Tone.

Wars should not start on weak basis of "believe".

It would be fantastic to have another holiday in july, so make a new one. I could care less what it is. Let's just have one. and another in October as well. The UK is seriously deficient in holidays, so let's have more. Who gives a f**k what they're called.

If it happened, thousands of union members would take to the streets to protest, and get paid for it.

If they have a Margaret Thatcher day for a bank holiday, I think they'd have to have everyone going into work that day instead of having the day off. It's what she would have wanted. Oh and the unemployed would not be paid benefits on that day either.

..Actually I'm rather warming to the idea (I'm on a day rate)

Yep, but seeing as the intelligence seemed to amount to an aerial photo of a truck stopping outside a shed and a hysterical taxi driver in Baghdad saying 'Saddam's got WMDs', there perhaps wasn't much critical thinking applied.

Tony B Liar destroyed that; he gained the public's support for the war in Iraq by lying through his teeth.
