One thing I like(d) about Cambridge is it's sunny a lot, and everyone seems to 'make an effort'; everything is well maintained, clean and tidy. Oh, and the calibre of the ladies walking around the centre is seldom surpassed. :

Some good boozers too, check out "The Champion of The Thames" and "St. Radegund" for two good ones.

Not too bad, fairly flat and thus handy for cycling.

For 2 weeks it isn't worth getting lodgings. But I've been based here almost two years and pay £100 a week for a large room in a shared house, which seems pretty reasonable these days. Also it's handy to be able to leave clobber here over the weekend when I'm back in London.
