Not everything has to look modern and minimal
Indeed in fact many many dollars are spent making perfectly good websites look modern and flashy without actually having any bearing on useability.

Also think of the audience - the people who buy spare parts will generally be mechanics etc who want to find what they want easily and quickly often when using a filthy mouse n keyboard at the back of a workshop.

That really does hurt your eyes, all they need is flaming gifs, and faded photo borders to make my eyes bleed

    As a hint:

    1) if you set up a sale and then get to the commit stage can you manually change the quantity in the URL and post the confirm with the old price while getting 2 or more of the product?

    2) does the site pass cross site scripting attacks?

    Aaarggghhh my eyes!

Yes I do seem to be able to enter details in the name and address section, but if there were any reasonable alternative to that site I'd take it. Simply. Awful.

If you run Firefox and you add to the cart - does it allow you to enter detail in the Your Name Address form?
I know I'll be a host to fortune for saying this but get them to install Erro.rs - Javascript Error Management and these issues are identified.

Having said that, it may be fine for the customer base. If your selling parts, you don't need glossy visuals (or do you?)

If so could you elaborate - as I called it a bit "agricultural" and the owner is getting defensive (I was only trying to give helpful feedback as a customer)... to me it looks a bit Y2K
