Ok I did various other searches on east didsbury as well...... I am usually very good at googling, otherwise i'd never be able to do half the technical stuff that I do every day!

You really shouldn't get too excited about the tram. We've had them in North Manchester for quite some time and I find them annoying. I use them infrequently nowadays, but there is always some delay whenever I do. Also if one breaks down the whole line is blocked.
I prefer the bus
