Get about 6-7 hours on a school night. NorPussII since his brother's demise has taken over purring loudly from 5am onwards, whereas NorPussI meows loudly from about the same time.
On weekends I try to sleep longer.

I never knew my ex, with her "snoring at both ends", was masquerading as a sleep cycle alarm.Originally posted by Bunk View PostOn a related note, I've started using a sleep cycle alarm on my phone, that monitors your movements and tries to wake you when you're in a light sleep rather than a deep one. I've always wanted to try polyphasic sleep, but never had the time to lose the few weeks while you adjust.

You can get alarm clocks now with an alarm tone, like mobiles.Originally posted by zeitghost23:00ish to 06:10ish when my wakeup you idle bastard light comes on.
It's a red light.
Like in submarines.
I'd recommend a pinging submarine sonar, with an ever louder echo and propellor sounds.
That'll get you out of bed in a hurry.

minimum 8 hours at a stretch. So I try to go to bed at 10 pm, and wake up at 6 am. Weekends I sleep more. I need my sleep.

What is you sleep pattern?
Generally I'm in bed by midnight and up again around 6:30.
Just read this which was quite an interesting article about a split sleep cycle a few hundreds years back.Tags: None
