That is the problem with my Plan B. My Plan B partner keeps getting derailed by family commitments.
If we can just get a bit further so that I can operate on my own when he isn't available we are good to go. He has expertise that I need to learn and an accumulation of industrial quality kit so I am at the mercy of his availability until we get our own premises, which is in hand, but we have to send builders in first etc etc.
It can be frustrating but I ain't giving up yet.

It's all or nothing and as I hinted at earlier I think spreading my time around wouldn't help to make a success of the new venture. Too many businesses fail because one or other of the parties involved just don't put in the time and effort so I don't want to take the risk.

What's the timeline when you'll know if plan B is a goer or not... months or years? If the former I'd say go for it, you can always get another contract.
Enough work to provide cashflow for at least three months and probably six, if it's not a goer in that timeframe I reckon it'll be back to contracting.

There's enough work initially to keep everybody busy and although this is Plan B moving to A I still have a couple of minor projects ticking along nicely in the background that should come to fruition within the next year.
Quite simple, take the extension with ClientCo at the end of the month or run with Plan B?
Got a partner, funding and everything else in place and we both discussed today in depth taking the big step. Some business already in place to get the cash flow steady for a couple of months so that's the timeframe to generate more business.
