or should that be a slow england team?

he could have got the expeirence staying at home playing his xbox - hed have probably won the world cup with his team. By introducing and not playing theo sven wasted a slot in his squad and probably disenchanted the young player, why not let him play one of the preli, games? One of the games you actually won?
What better way to get a youngster interested in continuing and striving for a place than to get a cap - not sat on the side line like a lemon for a loosing team.

The young guy will benefit from being in that environment. Maybe his plan was to take him but not play him...thus introducing him to the England team slowly.

maybe sven owed theos mum a couple of days babysitting?

really shame that they didnt even bother playing the kid, im sure that its not an auspicious start for him in his footballing career.

And look, the other guy you could have had is now about to be the coach of a team in the semis and very possibly the coach of the world cup holders.

If it wasnt for your meeja's mypoic view of the importance of having a pom run the country you could have had that guy guide you to world cup glory in 4 years time*

*assuming the meeja doesnt run him out of office like they did with Sven.
