    I know that you have only got a mail, but if you had the choice, would you swap Radbroke for London though - extra costs and all.

    Just got emailed about a role paying £530/day for a SQL/C# dev in London.....

    As always, these cuts don't affect everybody. From what I can see, their dependence is increasing on IT. As long as you have skills, you should be ok in the current market.

    Consolidation and centralisation programme into one area.

    We're now at about 1/4 of the combined LTSB / HBOS IT staff being cut since the merger. More offshoring/ outsourcing too.

    Bad news for those affected. If some are branch / sales based staff they may struggle to get similar posts, so MUN, no need to panic unless they are project based staff.
