Don't blame me when MTT starts chasing you.....
Close - started at 5'7" and a bit, and 10st 5lb. I guess you needed more decimal places. Mind you I've just ordered a pizza...

Spag boll is the killer, I just chow down as much pasta as I can at night. All bran most mornings but I have found porridge to be a big help. Used to take a rockstar drink before runs, found the caffeine helps with the boredom, got a bag of 100 100mg caffeine tablets from ebay for 4 quid last year, they seem to be quite a bit stronger than the same amount taken through drink. Took 2 and I was scrambled, lost focus on my running and ended up shattered after 6 miles.

I read "eat and run" last year and that has been a big inspiration to me, written by a vegan runner Scott Jurek who holds quite a few ultra records. I think I read he eats 6000 calories a day from plant based food. Must fart like a mad man.

Benched in 6 weeks so will be looking to produce 120 miles a week then hoping to go for 30 days of 25 miles. Toenail is about off on one foot, time to say goodbye to it.
    I am really impressed!

Can I ask what you are doing for nutrition during the runs? And what is your diet generally to get that much energy?

PS Mrs BP prefers it when I am out of the house as everything is easier! I reckon you don't moan enough.....

I am still smarting from the kicking you gave me over that text message picture and don't want any more aggro. BTW She is coming round to lunch tomorrow with her kids - minus hubbie who has now moved out.....

Are you taking vitamic c AND echinacea? You need both. Next year get a flu jab - I wish I had.

And it could be worse than aids - it could be man flu!
All the vits, but not echinacea.
